Flexible Ducting is used to connect Ventilation and Airconditioning Systems sheet metal ductwork to air distribution outlets namely diffusers and grilles. There are two types of flexible ducting namely insulated and non-insulated flexible ducting.

 

It is ideal to keep your ducting pulled as tight as possible to reduce resistance thus ensuring maximum airflow. The more bends and corners you put in, the more you are reducing the capability of the system.
